Very interesting news coming out of Knott's Berry Farm - it appears that the new Windseeker attraction, originally slated to replace the Sky Cabin will be placed in Fiesta Village instead. To tell you the truth, I'm scratching my head at this decision. The Sky Cabin is in desperate need of repair or replacement as it has not aged gracefully. Also, an attraction like Windseeker seems like a more natural fit for the free-wheeling, thrill-heavy Boardwalk area, vs. the Aztec themed and more sedated Fiesta Village. However, with the right style of theming, the ride could do very well in Fiesta Village.
I'm very curious to see how this one will pan out.

hope it fits perfect and does not make the area look like crap
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that preventing the area from looking bad is everyone's goal.
ReplyDeleteI am very curious as to how they are going to fit such a massive attraction in an already crowded section of the park, unless they remove the dragon swing, waveswinger and hat dance. I'm still upset that they removed Tampico Tumbler and Gran slammer.
ReplyDeleteThey've already begun construction. It will be where the Mexican restaurant was, between Jaguar and the Carousel. They restaurant has been removed, and the massive footer is poured. Head on over to Westcoaster.net for the latest pictures.
ReplyDelete@charles, they day they removed the Tampico Tumbler AND Grandslammer for La Revelution, they ruined fiesta Village.
